Found this little gem driving to find something to eat. The food was AMAZING!! Customer service was GREAT! And the place is super CLEAN!! They give you complementary charro beans that were so tasty. And a full service salsa bar. We will definitely be back to try more.

La Tapatia has become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Whether it's lunch, dinner or breakfast, you can order any item at any hour of the day. Waiters are friendly and courteous. I enjoy their enchiladas, tacos, chorizo and eggs plus their chillaquiles with eggs. I love that they have a self serve soda bar with free re fills. Oh, I must mention that their prices are very reasonable.

Visited Nov 19 a bit after 1pm. Young guy, reminded me a bit of a thinner Post Malone- maybe it was just the beard lol. He was super nice, great service. Food was delicious. Great chips and salsa. Ultimately, the stand-out was the service. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated as customers. You really don't experience that just anywhere. Highly recommend.

Overall 10/10 recommend! The atmosphere is fun and lively while also very clean. The staff are really nice and helpful & the food is amazing! I've had their potato tacos plate twice and finish every last bite each time. The beans are so rich and delicious, the rice is seasoned perfectly, and the tacos are crispy and fresh. I love their potato tacos so much because the potato is seasoned just right and has the right texture. The churros are the best ones I ever had -- so crispy and crunchy, but soft and fluffy on the inside. It's hard not to finish these like it's a race, haha. Their agua frescas are delicious and have the right amount of sweetness, they're always made fresh. I highly recommend both of the green salsas (green mild & the mild avocado verde). Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

The best street tacos!! Staff is always very friendly and this is a great place to relax and eat for a family with kids. Ours love the kids meal options, too. Salsa bar and beans are a great addition and we appreciate the fountain drink options.

in the corner of the strip mall.. nice and clean inside a few tv's on the wall the free pinto beans are so good full of flavor they are the best I got a margarita that was so good and I ordered a chicken wet burrito it was good chicken was nice and tender not dry and flavorless and the chicken flautas was nice and crispy and the service was great.. I will definitely be returning here....

Food was pretty decent! I was actually really surprised that this place doesn't give you free chips with your purchase (even when dinning in). I spent $36 and I would have had to pay an additional amount for chips if I decided. I have had better burritos and tacos elsewhere in Northern CA and while I'm out here on business, I haven't found a great Mexican food place. The food here was 6.5-7/10 The staff was very friendly and nice, found our answers to my questions since they were new at the register.

Someone once said you can't find good Mexican food in a strip mall That person was wrong. This place is awesome. Lots to enjoy here from the wide arrange of tasty (and spicy if that is your thing) salsa to friendly staff. Lots of seating and plenty of TV's to watch sports upon. I forgot the name of the burrito I got but it was delicious. Lott'a food for a decent price - heck this place may be a better value than Taco Bell at this point Also a bonus - they have Coca Cola from Mexico

Food to go Fridays! Called in an order to go and not disappointed one bit. We had the carne asada nachos, chile relleno burrito, shrimp cocktail (super fresh) and asada quesadilla. All good! I was told 15 min for pick up, I came in at 15 min and food was 100% ready and hot! Awesome service. It's nice inside as well. Friendly environment. We will be back!

If your in the Upland area and want authentic Mexican food, please run here! Each time I come, the service is exceptional and I love that consistency. The restaurant is pretty spacious and always clean. I ordered the Chorizo and eggs breakfast plate which came with rice and chorizo beans. At least, I think they are chorizo beans- the flavor is phenomenal. The portions are generous and before they bring you your entree, they give you a small bowl of frijoles de La hoya- those beans have so much flavor and they were super fresh. I also placed a to go order which was the Delux breakfast which came with breakfast potatoes, bacon, eggs and pancakes. I also ordered the green chilaquiles and eggs plate which I hear were delicious as well. To wash it all down, I ordered their Agua Fresca - the pineapple and passion fruit, soooo good! I've been here multiple times and I'm never disappointed.
